Potential home found

Meet Buddy

Lovable Buddy is now looking for a new home as a non-ridden companion. Buddy is a sweet soul who loves human and horse attention. He is good to catch and lead and stands very nicely for a groom. He is also well behaved for both the vet and the farrier. Buddy is a good doer and is still currently on his weight loss journey so we are hoping to find him a home where he can continue that journey with a friend who is also on restricted grazing for weight loss. He will happily live out all year round but may need a rug in the worst of the weather; he can also be stabled part time if needed. Buddy will get stressed when left alone so he is looking for a home where he will always have an equine companion in the field. If you think that Buddy is the companion for you, please apply online.

Important stuff

Buddy can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Buddy is not suitable to be worked.

History

Buddy came into our care in September 2025 after his owner contacted us to ask for help.
