Meet Pam

Little filly Pam is now looking for her new home as a companion. Born here at the farm and currently living in a small herd of mares, Pam is very inquisitive and friendly, and she will thrive in a home where she will have lots of appropriate interaction, enrichment and fun things to do. Due to her very small size, we are looking for a home for Pam with other ponies her own size on carefully managed grazing to prevent obesity and associated health problems. While good to handle, Pam is still young and will need a rehomer who has lots of experience and time to continue her education. Pam has been trained using positive reinforcement and is extremely clever and motivated to learn, so we are looking to place her in a home with experience of training animals in this way, and with a commitment to continuing to enrich her life through reward-based training.

Important stuff

Pam can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Pam is not suitable to be worked.

History

Pam was born here at the centre after her mum Sophie came into the centre through our owner support scheme.
