Meet Angharad

Ang is looking for a new home as a companion. Ang loves the companionship of her horse and human friends and always comes over in the field to see you. She is good to handle and currently lives out 24/7 in a small group of mares but she could stable part time if needed. Ang has sweet itch so needs regular baths and soothing creams to keep her comfortable, she is good to bath and loves a good groom and spending time with the humans in her life. The perfect home for Ang one be one where she can live out with another mare, and in the right environment, she could learn to be left for short periods of time, if introduced slowly. Ang could go for walks in hand or be introduced to ride and lead for enrichment and weight management.
Important stuff
Angharad can never be ridden or driven.
All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Angharad is not suitable to be worked.
History
Angharad arrived at Glenda Spooner Farm in December 2015 with a very large group of horses, including her mother. They were all in very poor condition with over grown feet.
