Meet Leonard

Leonard is ready to be rehomed as a non ridden companion. He is a lovely, bright boy who thrives on consistency from his handler and his environment. Leonard is good to catch and handle, however he can be insecure in new situations so gets a lot from a confident handler. He currently lives out on restricted grazing with other geldings but will happily stable part time as part of a routine. We are looking for a rehomer who will enjoy spending time with him and building a relationship. Leonard doesn’t like being left completely alone so will need a home where he has constant company.

Important stuff

Leonard can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Leonard is not suitable to be worked.

History

Leonard was born at Hall Farm on 14th March 2014. His mother came to us from a welfare situation.
