Meet Sunnyhill Raindrop

After being rehomed for many years, sweet mare Raindrop is looking for her new home as a companion. Good to handle in all ways, Raindrop is happily living with a small group of mares here at the farm. In a home, Raindrop could go for walks in hand or learn to ride and lead to help with weight management and she could stable part time. Raindrop would need a flyrug in Spring through to Autumn as she does suffer from very mild sweet itch. This is easily managed by keeping her clean, daily lotion applied and wearing her rug. She can live out all year but would need restricted grazing.

Important stuff

Sunnyhill Raindrop can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Sunnyhill Raindrop is not suitable to be worked.

History

Raindrop came in to the farm in June 2018 with several other ponies. Sadly their owner was struggling to provide appropriate care due to ill health and asked World Horse Welfare to help.
