Cranberry

Meet Cranberry

Cranberry is a brilliant little mare with a lovely temperament. She is a happy soul who loves being around people and she is very good to handle. She was recently returned from loan and we understand she could be trusted around children (although we recommend this should only be under supervision of an adult) Cranberry is a sensible, lovable pony who has never put a hoof wrong. Cranberry has a history of laminitis but this has been controlled with restricted grazing and careful weight monitoring. It is crucial this routine is continued in her new home to avoid any further bouts. Cranberry is not suitable to ride but she makes an ideal companion to another ridden pony as she has the potential to be left alone for short periods if this is introduced gradually. This little gem will be a welcome addition to any yard.

Important stuff

Cranberry can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Cranberry is not suitable to be worked.

History

Cranberry originally came into our care as part of an RSPCA prosecution case. She was successfully rehomed for 7 years and only recently returned following a change in circumstances of her rehomer.
