Buttercup is looking for a quiet, non ridden companion home. We have found that she thrives on routine and is better with just one or two equine friends for company. As she does need her weight managed closely, the home we are looking for would have ponies managed on restricted grazing such as a track system or strip grazing. As with many native ponies, a great way to keep her waistline under control is being off the grazing, especially during spring and summer, so alternative areas such as an arena or yard with enrichment would be useful and would be perfect to provide variety. Buttercup will stable quietly, part time if this was in a routine. She is good to handle but would suit a confident adult only. She does enjoy a groom and interacting with people but may take time to settle into a new routine as she was in her original home for a long time. Buttercup could potentially learn to stay by herself whilst her field friend was ridden and she had other horses close by for her to see.
