Meet Sprite

Sprite requires an experienced handler that can provide a specific loving home. She is a unique little pony who enjoys a fuss, but can sometimes be wary to catch. Sprite's ideal home would be a small paddock attached to a yard where she can be gently herded into a small area to be caught. Once caught, Sprite is very good to handle, a little nervous, but very genuine. She is best suited to a quiet home with just one patient person who is prepared to spend the time regularly handling her and forming a bond. She is a charming and affectionate pony who will become a loving and rewarding companion.

Important stuff

This horse is based at Hall Farm, where we’ve been managing a strangles outbreak in some of our horses. They have been screened using guttural pouch lavage (the gold standard test), completed a full course of strangles vaccinations, and spent time in quarantine in a green zone paddock. They are now available for rehoming as part of our phased return to normal activities.

Sprite can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Sprite is not suitable to be worked.

Sprite was a signed over RSPCA prosecution case.
