Meet Stacey

Stacey is ready to find a home as a non ridden companion due to not taking to ridden work. She is a lovely, friendly mare who is very good to catch, handle, groom, bath and for the vet and farrier. Stacey, although great to groom, isn't one for standing and being fussed over for long periods of time. She gets on well with others, but does tend to be a bit higher up in the herd dynamics. She is currently living out with a rug and shelter, but will happily come into a stable when needed. She doesn't like being left on her own, so would be better suited to a home where she will have the company of another equine at all times, and needs her weight watching through the Spring/Summer months. If you can offer Stacey a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Stacey can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Stacey is not suitable to be worked.

History

Stacey came into Penny Farm as part of a large group of feral ponies.
