Meet Rosie

Rosie is ready to find a home as a non ridden companion due to not withstanding ridden work. She is a lovely, friendly mare with a kind heart. She is very good to catch, handle, groom, bath and for the vet and farrier. She is currently living out with a rug and shelter and gets on very well with others, but she will happily come into a stable for a groom and lots of fuss. Rosie needs her weight watching through the spring/summer months and doesn't like being left on her own, so would be better suited to a home where she will have the company of another equine at all times. If you can offer Rosie a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Rosie can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Rosie is not suitable to be worked.

History

Rosie came into Penny Farm with another pony after they were found with overgrown feet and living in unsuitable conditions.
