Meet Cedric

Cedric is ready to rehome as a non ridden companion due to not withstanding ridden work. He is a very friendly, easy going pony who is very good to catch, handle, groom, bath and for the vet and farrier. He gets on very well with others, and is currently living out unrugged with shelter, but will happily come into a stable and adapt to any routine. He still shows too much interest in mares when turned out with them, so will need a home where he will be turned out with geldings only, but he can be turned out next to mares. Cedric has taken part in birthday parties and groom a pony sessions here at the farm with several children grooming him at one time. He needs his weight watching all year round, so a home with equines of similar needs would be ideal for him, and he would enjoy going out for inhand walks to give him variety. He isn't keen on being left on his own, so will need the company of another equine at all times. If you can offer Cedric a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Cedric can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Cedric is not suitable to be worked.

History

Cedric came into Penny Farm entire within a group that had been abandoned.
