Meet Sand Blast

Sand Blasts time in our care has been supported by Retraining of Racehorses (ROR), the official charity for the welfare of horses who have retired from racing. Sand Blast is looking for a home as a non ridden companion. He is a very sweet, friendly horse with a very kind character. He is currently living out with a rug and shelter but will happily come into a stable with company next to him. He is very good to catch, handle, groom, bath and for the vet and farrier. He gets on very well with others and settles well into a herd of horses as he quite likes a quiet life. He doesn't require his weight watching or grazing restricted so would be best suited to a home with other horses with similar needs. If you can offer Sand Blast a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Sand Blast can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Sand Blast is not suitable to be worked.

History

Sand Blast came into Penny Farm through our ROR Scheme.
