Meet Lilly

Lilly is looking for a new home as a non- ridden companion. Lilly came into the centre in foal and gave birth to a filly foal in April last year. On arrival Lilly was very touch sensitive and while she has come a long way with her handling, Lilly can still sometimes be sensitive when being groomed and is looking for a quiet, confident handler who is happy to spend time getting to know her and building a relationship. Lilly currently lives out 24/7 but could stable part time in a quiet home. She will need restricted grazing, secure fencing and does not like to be left alone.

Important stuff

Lilly can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Lilly is not suitable to be worked.

History

Lilly was rescued in 2024, she was pregnant and worried about being handled. Lilly gave birth to filly foal, Iris here at the farm.
