Meet Kite

Kite is now ready to find his new home as a project with the potential to be a light hack. Kite was initially rescued as a youngster and has since spent many years much loved in a home before being returned to us due to a change in his rehomer's circumstances. While Kite is good to handle, he is still young at heart, and he is looking for a rehomer who is happy to continue his education. As Kite hasn’t been brought into any work yet, the perfect home for him would be with a rehomer who is experienced in bringing young horses into work and who is looking for a best friend to hack and get out and about exploring as Kite is looking for a hacking only home. Kite will need restricted grazing with equine friends and could stable part time in the right environment. Due to some leg feathering, Kite does need regular legs washes to prevent itchiness. When backed Kite would have a weight limit of 12 stone.

Important stuff

Kite could be worked in the future.

History

Kite came into the centre as part of a big group of unhandled youngsters all of whom were underweight.
