Sage

Meet Sage

Sage is now looking for her new home as a companion. Sage was rescued in a group of ponies from Gelligaer common, she was unhandled and in foal on arrival at the centre where she has since given birth to a healthy colt foal called Cinnamon, who has now been weaned. Sage is a very friendly mare who seemed to really enjoy the process of learning all her new skills and she is now good to handle in all ways. Sage could stable part time, needs her grazing monitored to prevent obesity and she could learn to go for in hand walks. We are looking for a home where Sage isn't left alone and she could graze with mares or geldings.

Important stuff

Sage can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Sage is not suitable to be worked.

History

Sage was unhandled and in foal when she arrived with a group from Gelligaer common.
