Meet Fraggle

Fraggle is ready to rehome as a non ridden companion. Fraggle is a loveable little cob, who is incredibly friendly and easy to do. He is very good to catch, handle, groom, bath, clip and for the vet and farrier. He is currently living out on restricted grazing with shelter and rug, within a group of geldings, but will mix with mares as well. He is a very friendly pony, who is very easy going. He takes part in the groom a pony sessions and parties at the farm, where he is groomed by several children at a time. Fraggle does suffer from scabby legs, so has his legs clipped off all year round to make it easier to treat. He is an incredibly good boy to have his legs clipped and will happily stand without any fuss while it's done. He does need his weight watching through the summer months, and he would love to go out for inhand walks to explore and give him variety. Fraggle doesn't like being left on his own, so will need a home where he has the company of another equine at all times. If you can give Fraggle a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Fraggle can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Fraggle is not suitable to be worked.

History

Fraggle came into Penny Farm with his mum. He was underweight and covered in lice.
