Meet Cruz

Sweet lad Cruz is looking for his new home as a non-ridden companion, due to kissing spine. Cruz adores attention and loves to come in for a good groom and to see everyone on the yard. He is well behaved for the vet and farrier, but as he is still young he does need an experienced handler. He currently lives out 24/7 but he will stable part time if needed. He can become stressed when left alone so he will be looking for a home where he would always have friends. Cruz can live with mares or geldings, but he does not cope well in a mixed herd. Due to his kissing spine Cruz will be best rugged in the cold and wet months, as he can become easily annoyed towards other horses if he feels cold. Cruz can gain weight easily in the summer months so he will need his weight monitored throughout the year. If you think that Cruz sounds like the companion for you, please apply online.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Cruz is not suitable to be worked.
