Meet Frenchy

Frenchy is ready to rehome as a youngster for handling. She arrived with us completely unhandled and her groom has worked incredibly hard to gain her trust and increase her confidence in a variety of situations. She has come on really well in her time with us, but she can still be nervous, so she is better suited to an adult-only home where she won't be around children. Frenchy tends to form a bond with her handler, so the ideal home for her would be a quiet, private yard where only one or two people would be handling her. She thrives on routine and familiarity. Frenchy gets on well with others, and is currently living out unrugged with shelter but will come in to a stable for weight management purposes and to be groomed. She is good to catch, but may need a treat in her new home while she settles in, she is good to lead, handle, groom and for the vet and farrier with a quiet approach and a few treats. Frenchy doesn't like being left on her own, so will need a home where she has equine company at all times. If you can offer Frenchy a home, please apply online.

History

Frenchy came into Penny Farm within a group of feral ponies. She was very scared of any human interaction.
