Meet Raj

Raj is ready to find a new home as a non ridden companion. He came into Penny Farm entire and completely unhandled and has come a long way since arriving with us. He is a lovely little pony who would love to find a home where he'll get lots of fuss and attention. Once he has settled into a new home, he would be your best friend, and would love to go out for inhand walks and do inhand ground work to help with his weight and help increase his confidence. He gets on well with others, but can only be turned out with geldings due to being gelded earlier this year. He will happily graze in a field next to mares. He is good to catch, handle, groom and for the vet and farrier, but may just need a few treats when he first meets them. He needs his weight watching so a home with equines of similar needs would be ideal. He is currently turned out overnight unrugged with shelter and comes in during the day. Important stuff

Raj can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Raj is not suitable to be worked.
