Meet Raj

Raj is ready to find a new home as a non ridden companion. He is a lovely little pony who would thrive in a one-to-one home. He is best suited to a home where he can continue in a good routine, as this helps to build up his confidence with his handler. Raj has a lovely personality and is a friendly little pony. He gets on well with others, but can only be turned out with geldings due to being gelded earlier this year. He is good to catch, handle, groom and for the vet and farrier, but may just need some treats and a slow approach for the first few times having his feet trimmed in his new home. He needs his weight watching so a home with equines of similar needs would be ideal, and he would love to find a home where he could be taken out for in-hand walks or do little bits of in-hand ground work to help with his weight and give him variety in his day. Once settled and in a routine, Raj will be your best friend, so if you can offer him a home please apply online.
Important stuff
Raj can never be ridden or driven.
All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Raj is not suitable to be worked.
History
Raj came into Penny Farm entire and unhandled, within a small group.
