Meet Pursuit of Purpose

Pursuit is a non-ridden companion only. She is not suitable to ride. Pursuit of Purpose's time in our care has been supported by Retraining of Racehorses (RoR), the official charity for the welfare of horses who have retired from racing. More details will follow in due course so please do check the site on a weekly basis for further information. However, please do apply before then if you think Pursuit might be suitable for you - if this turns out not to be the case once you have more information, you can simply withdraw your application and this will in no way count against any future applications to rehome from us that you might make.

Important stuff

This horse is based at Hall Farm, where we’ve been managing a strangles outbreak in some of our horses. They have been screened using guttural pouch lavage (the gold standard test), completed a full course of strangles vaccinations, and spent time in quarantine in a green zone paddock. They are now available for rehoming as part of our phased return to normal activities.

Pursuit of Purpose can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Pursuit of Purpose is not suitable to be worked.
