Meet Ginger

Ginger is looking for his new home as a companion. Ginger came into the centre with a group of unhandled ponies from Gelligaer common in Wales. He has since been castrated and has learnt all his basic skills here at the farm. Ginger is now very good to handle, but can have a sensitive nature, and is looking for a rehomer who will take the time to build a relationship with him. He is looking for a home with other gelding companions and will need his grazing monitored but he isn’t on a very restricted diet at present, and he could stable part time.

Important stuff

Ginger can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Ginger is not suitable to be worked.

History

Ginger is one of 24 ponies we took from a multi-agency round-up of Gelligaer common in south Wales.
