Meet R.M. Shabbalicious (Shabba)

Sweet Shabba is now looking for his new home as a non-ridden companion. Shabba is a lovely old man who just adores human attention and especially a good neck scratch, that is the way to his heart. When Shabba first arrived he was not sure about getting his feet done. Due to this his groom did a lot of clicker training with him and he has come on leaps and bounds since. He is now a lot more confident with the vet and farrier, he will just need someone confident at his head to give him some reassurance if he is unsure and of course some sweeties to tell him he is a good boy. He currently lives out 24/7, but due to his breeding and age he does need to be rugged and have a small feed in the winter months. He will also be stabled, if need be, as long as he has a friend next door. Shabba loves all his field mates and will live with both mares and geldings and tends to avoid any confrontation. All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that R.M. Shabbalicious (Shabba) is not suitable to be worked.
