Meet Wednesday

Wednesday is now ready to find her new home as a non ridden companion due to not withstanding ridden work. She is a lovely little mare, with a friendly character. She gets on well with others and will adapt to any routine. She has lived out 24/7 with a rug on and shelter, but also will happily stay in a stable overnight or through the day. She is good to catch, handle, groom, bath and for the vet and farrier. Although she cannot do any ridden/lunge or long reining work, she is perfectly capable of going out for inhand walks or doing some very low level inhand work over poles in walk to give her variety and help with her weight. She needs her weight watching through the spring/summer months, so ideally a home with ponies with similar needs would be best for her. She doesn't like being left on her own. If you can offer Wednesday a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Wednesday can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Wednesday is not suitable to be worked.

History

Wednesday came into Penny Farm within a large group after they were found being kept in unsuitable conditions.
