Meet Maeve

Maeve is ready to find a home as a non ridden companion. Maeve is a bold, independent little pony, who isn't overly fussed about lots of grooming and attention. She will happily stand to be groomed, but she isn't a pony that wants to be pampered. Maeve is good to catch, handle, groom, bath and for the vet and farrier. She gets on well with others, and just tends to pull faces when she wants her space. She does need her weight watching, so would be best suited to a home with equines of similar needs. Although Maeve isn't suitable as a childs ridden pony, she can still do inhand ground work and go for walks to help with her weight and give her variety in her day. She doesn't like being without a friend, so wouldn't be able to stay on her own while another horse goes out. If you can offer Maeve a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Maeve can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Maeve is not suitable to be worked.

History

Maeve came into Penny Farm after she was found living in unsuitable conditions.
