Meet Calvin

Calvin is a handsome young chap who really stands out from the crowd. He is quite timid but generally good to handle if he has a calm, gentle handler to give him confidence. Although Calvin's lack of self confidence can make him more reactive to sudden noise or unexpected movement, he is a gentle character who enjoys a fuss. Providing he is given time to process what is asked of him Calvin will try his best. He prefers a regular routine so he knows what to expect and he is proving to be a willing little pony. Calvin gets on well with all in his herd and loves nothing better than a friend who enjoys playing to pass the time. Calvin may have the potential to back to ride in the future if his rehomer wished to do so and has previous experience of this. This will depend very much on how he develops as he matures and not before he is at least 4 or 5 years old. Calvin could reach an adult height of 13.0hh or slightly over, although this is only an estimate as we have no knowledge of his breeding. If he reaches his expected adult height, Calivin will have a maximum rider weight limit of 8.5 to 9 stones. Otherwise we are perfectly happy for Calvin to be rehomed as just a non-ridden companion and spend his days kicking up his heels and living his best life.
