Life beyond rescue: Jimmy

Jimmy originally came to us as a welfare concern and after rehabilitation was looking for a home where he would have friends to bond with. He was rehomed by Sonja as a companion to her 16.2hh horse, Iceman. Sonja said:
“Jimmy has settled in and is doing really well. He is turned out with my rising three-year-old Iceman who is now 16.2hh – they are like twins, just little and large – and enjoy frolicking in the field together.“
Recently, Jimmy has started to learn voice commands in preparation for long reining. We look forward to hearing how he gets on.
If you feel inspired to rehome a horse after hearing Jimmy’s story, please visit our rehoming pages where you can see all of our horses and ponies who are ready to find a loving new home.
