Hobby horse showjumping day

Join us for fun filled day with ponies to meet and our fabulous Hobby horse Show jumping day.  The competition will be in our indoor riding school and classes will be as follows

• 20cm – Beginners Clear round
• 30cm – Show jumping with timed jump-off
• 40cm – Show jumping with a bit more bounce
• 50cm – Pairs relay
• 60cm – Advanced challenge 
• Accumulator – Score as many points as possible in 30 seconds by jumping as many fences as you can
• Grand National – Teams of 4 max, fun wide jumps

Tickets also include farm entry – there will be horses for you to meet in our crew yard area and you are welcome to take a walk round the farm tracks to see the horses in the fields too.  The outdoor play area will also be open.

Ticket prices for children include farm admission and entry to all the hobby horse classes. We do have hobby horses for the event however feel free to bring your own along if you prefer.  When you check in at reception each child will be given a wristband which they will need to show the hobby horse organiser to join in the activity.

If you have under 5’s who would like to join in you can book them a child’s ticket or book them free farm admission (select under5’s on booking form) you enter them into a class on the day (£5 per class).

How do I book an event?

You can book farm tour tickets quickly and easily via our event ticket form. You can only make one booking per transaction, so if you’re planning to attend multiple events please book each date separately. 

To book your tickets you’ll just need to select the event date and the number of tickets required. You’ll receive an email confirming the details of your event booking – please keep this safe! You’ll need to either print it out or have it to hand on your phone when you visit to confirm proof of your booking.  

Please note that you can only book a set number of tickets via our website, so if you’re looking to arrange a larger group booking please get in touch with us by emailing gfevents@worldhorsewelfare.org and we’ll be very happy to help.

What if I need to change or cancel my booking?

Tickets are non-refundable once purchased.  If you cannot attend on the date for which they were purchased (even if this is due to circumstances beyond your control) a refund or exchange cannot be guaranteed. Please contact us to see if you are entitled to a refund or exchange by emailing gfevents@worldhorsewelfare.org.
