Meet Spider

Spider is a sweet little pony with a willing nature. Although he likes to process new situations in his own time, he is a sensible boy who will always try his best. Spider loves people and shows great interest in what they are doing. Spider loves playing in the herd, but he is a gentle pony and will back down if the the rough and tumble of his companions gets a bit too boisterous. Spider has a tendency to pile on the pounds so he will need restricted grazing and his weight carefully monitored. He will be best suited to sharing with others with similar dietary requirements as he does get depressed if he is kept in a separate area. However, he will stay on his own for short periods if his companion is taken out to ride, providing this is introduced gradually in his new home. Spider has the potential to back to ride as a lead rein pony for a small child only in the future. He will also be the ideal non-ridden companion to other gentle characters.

History

Spider came into our care as part of a large welfare case when he was just a few month old.
