Spider is a sweet natured boy who just needs gentle encouragement. He can be a little cautious at times so he needs to be given time to process new challenges to decide if they are scary or not. On the whole he is generally good to handle for his age and willing to please. Fortunately Spider loves people and shows great interest in what is going on. Spider is still very young and on a steep learning curve, so we are looking for a home with previous experience of foals/youngsters where Spider can continue his education. He has completed basic handling and the right guidance at this stage will set him up well for the future as he matures and gains confidence. Spider enjoys playing in his herd although he does tend to be lower in the pecking order. Depending on how he develops Spider could possibly be a lead rein pony for a small child only in the future. He will fulfil a useful role as either a non-ridden companion or a future lead rein pony, although our main criteria is to find him a loving home where he can experience more of the world.
