Meet Daniel.5 (Porsha)

Porsha is a sweet little pony with a lovely willing nature. She happily accepts most things in life and is a polite mare who is very good to handle. Porsha gets on well with others in her herd. Ideally Porsha is best suited to living out, but if stabled will require shavings to help with her breathing. She also requires soaked hay. Porsha is a delightful companion to others with similar dietary requirements.

Important stuff

This horse is based at Hall Farm, where we’ve been managing a strangles outbreak in some of our horses. They have been screened using guttural pouch lavage (the gold standard test), completed a full course of strangles vaccinations, and spent time in quarantine in a green zone paddock. They are now available for rehoming as part of our phased return to normal activities.

Daniel.5 (Porsha) can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Daniel.5 (Porsha) is not suitable to be worked.

History

Porsha came into our care after her owner contacted us asking for help as they were struggling to give her the care she needed.
