Meet Morticia

Morticia is ready to find a new home as a non ridden companion due to having a heart murmur. She requires no ongoing treatment for it. She is a lovely little pony, who is very kind and laid back. She is good to handle, groom, bath and for the vet and farrier. She can be a little nervous to catch at times, but when kept in a good routine she is a lot better and she will always come for some food. She gets on very well with others and will mix with mares and geldings. Morticia needs her weight watching through the spring and summer months, so would be best suited to a home with equines of similar needs. If you can offer Morticia a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Morticia can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Morticia is not suitable to be worked.

History

Morticia came in to Penny Farm within a large group from a welfare situation. The group were found to living in unsuitable conditions with limited access to water and forage.
