Meet Piper

Piper is a handsome skewbald gelding who is ready to find a new home as a youngster. He is a cheeky chap who never fails to brighten up his groom's day. Piper was worried about being handled on arrival at the farm but has come on brilliantly well with regular handling and now loves spending time with people. He is a very playful pony and enjoys the company of his field mates; due to his age he would become stressed if left alone. Piper was gelded at the beginning of the year so is currently living out with a group of geldings. He may be happy to live with mares in the future but for the moment will need to live with other geldings. Piper is very good for all of his handling and the vet but does still need a few pony nuts while having his feet trimmed. Piper has lovely striking markings and is quite a wee show off when running round the field. He will need someone who has experience with young ponies to bring him on further and he has the potential to make a lovely child's ridden pony in the future. Piper will need his weight monitored and grazing restricted in the summer so is best suited to ponies with similar needs.
