Meet Jigsaw

Jigsaw is ready to find a new home as a non ridden companion. He is a lovely, friendly chap, with a sweet nature. He is very good to catch, handle, groom, bath and for the vet and farrier. He gets on well with others, but we have found he is better in a turnout setting where he is either with one other equine, or in a herd of four or more, as he tends to form attachment to one horse and likes to keep them to himself, although this may change if he is in a herd with stronger personalities. He is a lovely boy who loves lots of fuss and attention. He needs his weight watching, so is best suited to a home with equines of similar needs and he doesn't like being on his own, so it is important he has the company of another equine at all times. Important stuff

Jigsaw can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Jigsaw is not suitable to be worked.

History

Jigsaw came into Penny Farm after his owners could no longer care for him.
