Meet Basil

Basil is being rehomed as a non-ridden companion. Basil came into the centre with a group of unhandled ponies from Gelligaer Common in Wales. He has since been castrated and has learnt all his basic skills here at the farm. Basil is now good to handle but can still be a little sensitive so is looking for a quiet home setup with other gelding companions and an experienced rehomer who will spend time allowing him to settle and building a relationship with him.

Important stuff

Basil can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Basil is not suitable to be worked.
