Meet Putzie

Putzie is ready to rehome as a youngster for handling. Putzie arrived at Penny Farm as a colt, completely unhandled. His groom has worked really hard with him to gain his trust and increase his confidence in a variety of situations. He is a lovely little pony, with a very kind, sweet personality, but he is still nervous. For this reason we feel a quiet home where he will be handled by adults only would be best for him. Once he knows and trusts his handler he is the sweetest pony, and loves attention and scratches. He was gelded this year and so is only able to go out with geldings. He gets on well with others and is happy to live out or be stabled as part of a routine. He is good to catch, handle and groom. He is generally good to bath and is good for the vet and farrier with a quiet approach. We would love to find a home for Putzie where he could go out to inhand shows and where he can do some inhand ground work and gradually build up to inhand walks once he becomes a bit braver in his new surroundings.
