Meet Dalton

Dalton is ready to find a new home as a hacking pony. Dalton is an incredibly sweet little pony, who loves lots of fuss and attention. He gets on very well with others and is currently living out on restricted grazing, but will happily stable as well. We are looking for a home for Dalton where he will be hacked out only due to not withstanding ridden work in an arena. Dalton is great to hack in company or on his own walk, trot and canter with a confident and experienced rider and he loves going out exploring the countryside. He would not be suitable for a novice rider. He needs his weight watching all year round, so would be best suited to a home with other ponies of similar needs, and doesn't like being left on his own, so needs company at all times. He is good for the vet and farrier. He has a maximum rider weight limit of 8 1/2 stone. If you can offer Dalton a home, please apply online.

History

Dalton came to Penny Farm in 2018 after a large group of ponies were found not receiving the correct care. Our field officers found ponies underweight and with heavy worm burdens. Dalton was entire on arrival and completely unhandled.
