Meet Hunting Princess

Hunting Princess is a beautiful bay youngster who we think has lots of potential for the future. She has come on brilliantly well since being at Belwade and is turning into a lovely inquisitive young filly. Hunting Princess is well mannered for all her daily handling however sometimes requests a wee scratch from her groom before being caught and brought in. Hunting Princess is very well suited to her show name, she is a wee princess who loves to be pampered and fussed over. She adores people and is always very affectionate. Hunting Princess is very young so needs someone experienced with youngsters to bring her on out on loan. Like many youngsters she will look to her handler for confidence if she is unsure of anything new. Hunting Princess stands well for the farrier and vet if they are quiet and patient with her as she was a bit worried about injections on arrival. She should reach around 15HH once mature and has the potential to make a lovely ridden horse. She is currently living out full time with a group of mares but would happily live in a mixed herd out on loan. History

Hunting Princess came into World Horse Welfare care as part of a welfare concern. She arrived with her Dam and two other Thoroughbred mares, the horses were underweight on arrival.
