Odin

Meet Odin

Odin is ready to rehome as a non ridden companion due to not withstanding work. He is a lovely, friendly pony, who is very good to handle, groom and for the vet and farrier, and loves a fuss and attention. He can be a little sensitive at times, so will just need time to settle into a new home and get used to a new environment and routine. He was gelded late so can only be turned out with geldings, but he gets on very well with others. He is currently living out unrugged with shelter, but is happy to come in to a stable to be groomed and to be stabled for weight management. Odin doesn't like being left on his own, so will need a home where he has the company of another equine at all times. He needs his weight watching so would be best suited to a home with equines of similar needs. If you can offer this lovely boy a home, please apply online.

Important stuff

Odin can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Odin is not suitable to be worked.

History

Odin came in to World Horse Welfare within a large group of welfare concerns. He was entire and unhandled.
