Meet Rafiki

Handsome gelding Rafiki is looking for his new home as a project pony. Rafiki initially came into us in 2019 as part of a large prosecution case and has since been rehomed for years, recently returning to us through no fault of his own. Rafiki is a real pleasure to handle and is good to do all his basic skills. In the field he is a sensible field mate with good social skills. He has the potential to come into ridden work but is a blank canvas so will need an experienced rehomer who has experience in backing and bringing on young horses. Rafiki will have a ridden weight limit of 8.5 stone.

History

Rafiki first arrived in our care towards the end of 2019 with several other very young ponies as part of a much larger welfare case. They were all unhandled, many were underweight and the males were entire.
