Meet Paprika

Paprika is a lovely, fun gelding now looking for his first new home as a companion. Paprika came into the centre as part of a mixed group from Geligear common in South Wales. On arrival at the centre, he was unhandled and has since come on leaps and bounds with his training, proving to be a quick learner and he is now good with all his basic skills. Paprika is looking for a rehomer who would enjoy his interactive and enthusiastic nature as he enjoys playing and socialising with his horse friends. Paprika is looking for an experienced rehomer who understands this is his first home and who will offer him support and time to settle in. Dependent on grazing, Paprika needs his grazing monitored rather than restricting and in a quiet home Paprika could stable part time. He relies on his equine friends and doesn't like to be left alone.

Important stuff

Paprika can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Paprika is not suitable to be worked.

History

Paprika is one of 24 ponies who came into World Horse Welfare from a multi-agency round-up of Gelligaer common in south Wales. He was unhandled and entire on arrival at the centre.
