Meet Tiger Lily

As can be seen in the video footage below, Tiger Lily arrived at Hall Farm in a pitiful state with several others who had just been abandoned by their owner. Tiger Lily is a completely different little lady today. She has blossomed into a delightful little youngster with an exuberant nature who is loving life. Tiger Lily wants to investigate everything and is constantly bright and alert. She is interested in people and loves fuss and cuddles. She has been quick to learn and is generally good to handle for her age, although she is not above showing her cheeky side at times. We are looking for a knowledgeable home with a person who has previous experience of educating foals. Due to her young age Tiger Lily needs to share her grazing with others with similar dietary requirements so she can learn acceptable horse behaviour. Depending how she matures Tiger Lily may have the potential to back as a lead rein pony for a small child only but not until she is at least 5 years old. She is unlikely to be more than 12.0hh when fully grown, so we would also be very happy to see her future role as a non-ridden companion only

History

Tiger Lily was found with a large group of horses who had clearly been abandoned and were suffering from a variety of health issues and neglect. Their owner would have faced prosecution by the RSPCA but they were never traced. You can find out more about their story by watching the video further down this page.
