Chester

Meet Chester

Chester is a very striking strawberry roan cob who is pretty laid back about life. Chester adores attention and would stand all day in the barn if he was being pampered. He is looking for a home as a hacking horse; he prefers the slower pace of life so someone who wants to go hacking around the countryside would be perfect for him. Chester is happy to go out alone or in company however he can be a bit spooky on his own until he knows his hacking routes; he is a very genuine horse that will look after his rider. Please note that due to Chester's conformation he cannot do any schoolwork and has a rider weight limit of 12.5 stone. Chester can become very attached to his friends so is better suited to living with a herd of horses. He will happily live with mares or geldings, but he does tend to get more attached to the mares. Chester is currently living out full time and will need his weight monitored and grazing restricted during the summer months. He does have mild sweet itch which is being managed with fly rugs, a fly mask and regular topical treatment of an anti-itch cream. If you think that Chester sounds like the right hacking horse for you, please apply online.
