Meet Sebastian

Sweet gelding Sebastian in now looking for his new home as a companion. Sebastian is a lovely pony to handle and gets on well with his field mates. Here at the farm he is currently in a herd with an older mare and a couple of young geldings who have just been weaned due to his sweet and patient nature. Sebastian could stable part time and could learn to be left by his companion for short periods with a rehomer who is happy to put in lots of time to teach him this sensibly. As he is prone to weight gain we are looking for a home for him with companions who are on restricted grazing all year round. Sebastian has a lovely long mane and tail which he is happy to have brushed and washed, he does have some feather and these will need monitoring to prevent itchiness, they are clipped out here at the farm and washed regularly.

Important stuff

Sebastian can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Sebastian is not suitable to be worked.

History

Sebastian originally came into Hall Farm in 2013 as part of a prosecution case, he was underweight on arrival.
