Paying tribute to Her Majesty The Queen, Roly Owers, Chief Executive of World Horse Welfare, said:

“World Horse Welfare joins with the nation in offering our heartfelt condolences to King Charles III, our President HRH The Princess Royal, and all members of the Royal Family on the death of Her Majesty The Queen.

“Her Majesty’s dedication and devotion to Her role was a guiding light to us all, and Her love of horses and equestrianism was an inspiration. What an extraordinary example She has shown us. She will be sorely missed.”
