Meet Stig

Stig is looking for his new home as a companion. Stig arrived unhandled and entire, he has since been castrated and has learnt all of his basic skills here at the farm. He is now very good to handle, but has a sensitive nature, so we are looking for a rehomer who will take the time to build a relationship with him. Stig is really clever and enjoys learning new things, so in time when he’s settled could learn to go out for in hand walks or do some horse agility. He is looking for a home with other gelding companions who would enjoy his playful nature. He will need his grazing monitored but he isn’t on a very restricted diet at present, and would happily stable part time if needed.

Important stuff

Stig can never be ridden or driven.

All equines in our centres are regularly assessed by a team of experts including a vet, physiotherapist and farrier, and these assessments have found that Stig is not suitable to be worked.

History

Stig arrived at the farm unhandled and entire.
