Our Glenda Spooner Farm Rescue and Rehoming Centre, in Somerset, is delighted to be hosting equestrian influencer Phoebe and The Wildcard Ponies for her first ever Meet & Greet on Wednesday 27th August. Phoebe, aged 15, is a big name amongst young horse lovers so this is a very exciting opportunity for fans based in or near Somerset to meet her.
The Wildcard Ponies journey started on Instagram in 2021 and since then Phoebe’s following has grown rapidly, with around 27,000 followers across multiple social media platforms, including TikTok and YouTube. Phoebe’s mum Elli runs the social channels – as well as keeping the show on the road, quite literally! – and says:
“Phoebe’s very excited to be spending the day at Glenda Spooner Farm Rescue and Rehoming Centre. As horse lovers, it can be really easy to take our own wonderful ponies for granted so the opportunity to support a charity that helps horses in need is very special. Having seen our own rescue pony’s transformation, it’s a cause that really is very close to our hearts. We’re looking forward to meeting Phoebe’s fans – and of course the World Horse Welfare horses and ponies!”
Glenda Spooner Farm’s Visitor Centre Officer, Laura Oliver, says: “As well as getting the chance to meet Phoebe, visitors will be able to have a go at craft activities, take on our hobby horse jumps, explore the farm, meet our horses and ponies little and large – including gentle giant Earl and tiny Pam (pictured below), and get involved with Stable Squad – World Horse Welfare’s club designed for children with a passion for horses.
“Entry to the farm is just £3 – with the Meet & Greet included in that – so it really is a great value day out. The café will be open so visitors will be able to get coffee and cake throughout the day, with hot food available 11am-3pm. With numbers capped for safety reasons, I’d encourage people to book their space quickly, so they don’t miss out. It’s going to be a fabulous day!”

Those attending are advised to dress for the weather, as the queue for the Meet & Greet will be outside and time slots will be issued on a first come, first served basis on arrival at the farm. Previous Meet & Greet events at the centre with other equestrian influencers have proved to be really popular, so early booking is encouraged to avoid disappointment.
Anyone wanting to snap up this unique opportunity to come and meet Phoebe and The Wildcard Ponies can book their visit now. Just book your visit to the farm and select Wednesday 27th August on the form.
